Simon Pavitt

Prior to founding Capstones Co, Simon spent over 15 years in sports marketing, particularly Formula One — initially with global brand SAP at McLaren Mercedes, then managing Vodafone’s global partnerships, and later serving as Commercial Director of OVO Energy founder Stephen Fitzpatrick’s Formula One team, Manor Racing.

Previously, as part of the core management team at Omnicom, Simon established Fuse, an award-winning sports and entertainment agency that scaled to 46 markets. There he negotiated a significant deal flow of global partnerships across sport, arts, music and fashion exceeding $2bn in value. His clients included 11 of the world’s top 30 brands. Simon also serves on advisory boards across technology, lifestyle, wealth management and philanthropy. An alumnus of Harvard Business School through Omnicom University, he has lectured at London Business School on sports marketing and technology.

As Chief Advisor to a client’s Venture Capstone — the London Technology Club — Simon works with over 130 tech investors across London, Dubai, Hong Kong and Saint-Tropez. Through his consulting role with the Club, he has become an accomplished presenter and compere, hosting over 200 global events with former prime ministers, billionaires, sports icons and tech unicorn founders.

A prolific writer, Simon has authored more than 15 reports exploring the future of technology across sectors from AI, longevity and preventative health to property, finance, climate change, media and superyachts. He has contributed to publications including Mayfair Times, Monaco Life, Club Oenologique and JaneAnson.com, while his insights have been featured by Forbes, the Stanford Center for Longevity, Areni Global, CityAM and Billionaire Magazine.

Outside of Capstones, Simon pursues elite fitness (representing Team GB and placing 26th at the Duathlon World Championships in Canada in his age category), indulges his passion for fine wine (especially Super Tuscans), and prioritises his role as a proud father to two children. He holds a BSc Hons Degree in Psychology from the University of Nottingham.

Simon’s ambition is to make the term Capstone mainstream and pioneer a new industry around “alternative alternative” investments — collaborating with visionary project owners to create outsized impact. He is the author of Capstones: The Art & Architecture of Meaningful Passion Projects (Harriman House, part of Pan Macmillan, 2025), and is passionate about what he calls the “Art of Wingmanning” — guiding others to bring their Capstone projects to life.
